We recently had a staff social evening of Bonkers Bingo organised by local charity, Blue Skies. The evening took place at Blackpool Football Club and as well as having a fun filled evening of dancing and bingo we also helped raise money for Blue Skies.
Blue Skies is based at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and supports patient care and research for the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre areas. On top of this they raise money to provide equipment and facilities that wouldn’t normally be funded by The NHS. This invariably makes a patient’s experience of their time in hospital more enjoyable and less stressful.
