To celebrate the wonderful festive period, the team at Barker Booth & Eastwood hosted a Christmas-themed charity afternoon, in aid of local charity for Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde.
As well as taking part in quizzes and competitions to raise money, individuals went head-to-head to be crowned best festive outfit in the annual Christmas fancy dress competition.
Lisa Mills, Chartered Legal Executive in the Personal Injury Department at Barker Booth & Eastwood, and committee member at Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde said: “The team at Barker Booth and Eastwood Solicitors hosted a wonderful afternoon to fundraise for Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde, a fantastic charity who supports brain injury survivors, their families & carers, in and around Blackpool Wyre & Fylde. It was a pleasure to see a full house, with the entire team taking part in the very competitive Christmas quiz, a game of bingo and a fantastic raffle, raising a fabulous £200.00! These funds will pay for 4 therapy sessions of mindfulness for the members of Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde. Such sessions are crucial to support those who have sustained brain injuries on their rehabilitative journey. Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde run weekly drop-in sessions on Tuesdays at the Freedom Centre in Blackpool”.
