Sara Stanley

I am the Legal Assistant to Nicola Dewhurst within the Family Department. I joined Barker Booth & Eastwood in 2004. I have worked with Nicola since 2013 . Our work relates to our client’s personal protection and the protection of their children, under the Family Law Act and Children Act. We work closely with FCWA.

I specialise in organisation and planning generally and to ensure that Court Bundles are with the Court in good time prior to a listed hearing. I also have direct contact with clients to assist them as issues arise and help with the general flow of communication and correspondence between the clients and Nicola.

I have a helpful, friendly and sensitive approach as most clients have experienced trauma due to domestic abuse. I understand that they are trying to navigate through a difficult and emotional time in their life.

Outside of Work

I love to shop, go out for meals and to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy relaxing at home after a busy week. I have two Daughters aged 29 and almost 17 although they are older now you never stop being a Mum.
