My name is Lisa Mills and I work within the Personal Injury Department amongst a fantastic team of Lawyers and support staff. My speciality is Personal Injury and I have worked in this area since 2012. I deal with a vast range of cases from low value to high value cases. Day to day I deal with cases from inception all the way up to Trial.
I approach each case with open eyes, accessing all the facts. I diligently deal with cases as they progress, thinking outside the box and I firmly believe that having a good rapport with your client is key!
I am an APIL member and FILEx Fellow, I qualified in 2020.
Case Highlights
- Our client was injured in an accident at work. Liability stringently denied. Paperwork in order however what was done in practice was very different. There is no point having a safe system in place if you are not going to implement it – Trial won!
- Recently took on a case which involved not one but two 250kg panes of glass falling and crushing my client! Hard to believe in this day and age, health and safety is still not implemented as it should be in the workplace! Thinking outside the box, I decided to write to all businesses in the area local to where the accident happened and managed to get CCTV footage to help support our clients claim!
Outside of Work
I really enjoy making the most of my time outside of work with my family and friends. Every weekend I always make sure we have something fun planned whether it be visiting new places, going to a gig, hiking up a mountain or kayaking on a lake!
